RUSH 300 – 300 kilometers. 2,500 meters of elevation. An unforgettable day.
Starting point: Ritzensee, Saalfelden Leogang. The day is still calm over the lake – but what follows is anything but quiet.
Road bike highlight in the Salzburg region
The RUSH300 is about more than kilometers:
300 kilometers. 2,500 meters of altitude.
The 2025 route is an epic loop through the Salzburg region – with a detour into the Bavarian Alpine foothills. It leads past emerald green lakes, through wide valleys, over picturesque panoramic roads and offers impressive views of the Alps.
Particularly charming: the passage towards Lake Chiemsee, the “Bavarian Riviera”. Wide landscape, open roads – before heading back to Austria and the backdrop of Saalfelden Leogang shapes the last kilometers.
The crowning finale leads back to the Ritzensee – where the riders roll together into the finish line after 300 kilometers and 2,500 meters of altitude.
Highlight: Simon Geschke is riding along
Special highlight in 2025: Simon Geschke – one of the most popular German professional cyclists of recent years – is riding along.
Geschke, known for his distinctive beard and combative riding style, can look back on an impressive career:
• Stage win at the 2015 Tour de France (Alpine stage to Pra Loup)
• several times in the mountain jersey of the Tour de France, in 2022 even until shortly before Paris
• numerous starts at Grand Tours (Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a España)
• part of the professional peloton for almost 15 years
Like hardly anyone else, he stands for passion, perseverance and team spirit – values that perfectly match the spirit of the RUSH300.
Guided groups & strong names
At the RUSH300 you don’t ride alone:
It’s all about teamwork – in guided groups, tailored to your pace.
The pacing groups are supervised by experienced guides – including real heavyweights such as ex-biathlete Julian Eberhard, RAAM winner Philipp Kaider and Simon Geschke.
“Ride your story” – that’s the motto.
No race. No pressure. But maximum emotion and ambition.
Light version for beginners
New in 2025: the RUSH300 Light version.
It starts together with the 300 km route, branches off along the way and ultimately leads to the finish line at 160 km and 1,500 meters of altitude.
This allows ambitious amateur riders to be part of the adventure – with the same community and the same experience, just a little shorter.
Support like in the professional peloton
Four high-quality catering stations, mechanic service, support vehicle and a dedicated media team – everything is there so you can concentrate on one thing: pedaling, pushing through, enjoying.
Saalfelden Leogang – internationally known from the MTB world – shows its road bike side at the RUSH300: The region impresses with a growing community, fascinating natural scenery and a strong commitment to sporting events with quality.
The Ritzensee forms the start and finish backdrop – and in the evening everyone who made it celebrates this great day together.
